Born in Bogotá, Colombia, in the mid-1980s, my early years were marked by the usual complexities of family and personal life. These experiences, while seemingly uneventful at the time, planted the seeds of my passion for creating images and preserving memories.

After finishing high school, I left Colombia and moved to France, embarking on an enduring exploration of visual arts. Initially drawn to cinema and graphic arts, I quickly discovered that photography was the medium that best served my artistic development and expression.

For nearly 16 years, I immersed myself in the world of fashion and advertising photography, evolving and experimenting within its boundaries. However, I eventually felt the need to shift toward a more personal and symbolic approach to my work—one that confronts my individual questions and ideas about human existence and the pursuit of authenticity.
